Day 3 - Carnival Legend Copenhagen, Denmark & Sweden!

Happy Thursday everyone!  We had an exciting day today.  We ported in Copenhagen at 8:00 am and we met up for breakfast at 7:40 am so we could eat and be in the Follies Lounge for a 9:15 departure.

We boarded our bus and got underway about 15 minutes late. But we were off to Sweden.

They use more bikes to get around than cars!

 Very interesting architecture!
They told us that helicopters bring people in from Germany to golf!
Sweden the home of Ikea

The first stop was Lund, Sweden where we visited the Cathedral and where the advanced astronomic clock is home for.

We then re-boarded the bus to head back down towards  Malvo where they were having their festival.  Heading south to Malmo, Sweden some scenery we saw below.
 Windmill

Subway's seem to be popular in Europe.  They were all over London and then we find them in Sweden!

 We found Wayne's coffee shop!

These are apartments that are built for the over 55 crowd.  No one younger may live there!

Looking back over the bridge leaving Sweden going back to Denmark!

We were given but a short amount of time in either town so we have pictures but not much on the adventures of our gang.

Upon returning to Copenhagen Frieda, David, Michael and I strolled down to the waterfront to see Hans Christian Anderson’s Little Mermaid Statue.  Then we did a little shopping.

 Han's Christian Anderson's Little Mermaid!

 Swans and their babies!
 Who likes Tiger?

Back on the ship before 3:30 because we sailed at 4:00 p.m.  We have been sitting on our balconies relaxing until dinner.

Below are some pictures taken after dinner from our balcony!  Beautiful sunset!!

Early to bed for Michael and I as we are all meeting at 5:30 am for breakfast since we have to be in the Follies lounge by 6:15 to have a 6:45 departure to Berlin, Germany!  We will be off the ship about 13 to 14 hours in duration!  We are going to see the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, and many other sights!!

Check out tonight’s visitor!
