Day 2 on The Carnival Legend 12 day Baltic

Just a few left over shots of London on the way out of town to Dover!
The London Eye
Harrods we walked by it but no time to shop! :(

 Another look at Buckingham Palace

Today we were at sea all day.  It was very cloudy but a fun day nonetheless.   We ate breakfast later than we had been in London not meeting up until 9 am.  We didn’t eat in the main dining room this morning we just met up with Lavinia and Frances at the Lido buffet.

After breakfast we went to listened to the Cruise Director, John, talk about the ports we would be visiting.  The first one tomorrow is Copenhagen, Denmark.  We all have purchased the shore excursion - Over the Bridge to Sweden -  We will board a bus and cross over the bridge from Denmark into Sweden and we will spend the day visiting Lund and Malmo which is the 3rd largest city of Sweden with 300,000 inhabitants.

After the shore excursion talk we stayed and listened to the Shopping talk but didn’t find that very informative.  After that we went to lunch in the dining room (which at breakfast and lunch is open seating) and surprisingly got seated at the table that Lavinia and Frances are sitting at dinner time…..we realized that they don’t want to be moved to our table because they have a wonderful table with wonderful people by the window.  We enjoyed eating lunch there with them and looking out their window.

We strolled some of the ships shops and then it was nap time!  Michael and I went up and had tea we ate a couple of the little sandwiches and a small desert each that we shared.  Afterwards he and I went to listen to family Karaoke but no one was participating.

It was time to get ready for our 1st formal dinner night.

Dinner was wonderful.  Michael and I shared a prime rib and each got the lobster tail and tiger prawns and I got a baked potato this time!  Our Alaska cruise I was told oh no it takes to long but tonight they were on the menu! My Alaska cruise buddies know how disappointed I was.

We were serenaded by our wait staff singing That’s Amore!

Our assistant waiter came and asked Freida to dance!  Fun times and memories being made!!!

Check out Grace's dessert!
After dinner we all went to see the show Jazz Hot.

Back in the room now to get some sleep. Because we have to turn the clocks forward another hour!! Yes we are now going to be 6 hours ahead of you all. And my understanding in a few days we will be 8 hours ahead of you.

Not a very happening day nor a lot of walking but we are still using the stairs! We enjoyed the day of relaxation and visiting.

Check out who was hanging in our room tonight.

Stay tuned for more fun and pictures!
