Carnival Legend Day 9 - Tallinn, Estonia

What can I say about Tallinn, Estonia other than I believe it was a place that we all would have loved to stay longer to explore.  Very quaint medieval town that had us falling in love with it immediately.

Our first stop was St Olaf's Church.  Beautiful church that is an old medieval church built in the 13th Century that uses power point and very active with their youth. We paid the 2 Euros each to climb the 238 step to the top of the tower only to have me hyperventilating  about a quarter of the way up I came back down.
This is when I decided I couldn't do it! :)

They got a some beautiful panoramic views and pictures!

After I could breath and stop sweating I decided to walk over and wait by the door for the others to return down from the tower.  I started chatting with Annikka about the history of the church.  It is a Baptist Church and they have 2 services on Sunday.  The first one being traditional and the second one being contemporary.  I also found out she is Estonian but her husband is American.  She met him when he came there on a Mission Trip.  He came back every year until they were married last summer. They attend a different Baptist Church in Estonia however they were married at St. Olaf's as she had dreamed of marrying there since childhood since that is where her parents married.

Check out the weary stair climbers below!

Afterwards we had lunch at a wonderful sidewalk cafe!

Notice only the lettuce was left! LOL

More shopping......

Our men wait so patiently...Wayne and David have been just a great role model for Michel in the patience department for me shopping.  I am thinking he will be by my side when I am Christmas shopping from now on!  NOT!!!!

some misc pictures below

Love the traffic lights for pedestrians!  Germany had the best but we could never get a picture from the bus! They have what they call the Ample Man! Look him up too cute.

We are on day 9 of our 12 day Baltic Seas cruise. Amsterdam, The Netherlands on Saturday.  Sunday we will be coming home.

Our visitor tonight...Silly Rabbit!!!!
