Carnival Legend Helzinki, Finland Day 6

Hope everyone had a happy Sunday.  We are traveling through the Baltic Seas as we head towards St. Petersburg, Russia.  We lose another hour of sleep tonight.  So that means tomorrow and Tuesday we will be 8 hours ahead of everyone on the east coast.

Finland was a beautiful stop.  The architecture there was beautiful.   They have a park right down the middle of the street that was wonderful to walk through so we could see the beautiful flowers and fountain.

We went to an open air market that turned out to be wonderful for shopping and getting things made in Finland.
Open air market!

David, Michael, Freida and I went on a walking tour to see a few buildings; The Luthern Church and the University.

 The Luthern Church

We had the wonderful opportunity to hear this man singing Opera in Italian for us.  Beautiful voice! Check out his Micky Mouse!!!

Back to the park to sit and relax a bit!

Then we were off to the store recommended by our “expert” shopping person.  Nothing found there and very disappointing.

A man playing the pan flute in the park!

Our men waiting "patiently" for their ladies to finish shopping so they can go back to boat and eat!

A man playing bottles.  Amazingly and beautiful sounding!

We got on our bus and headed back to ship and some final shopping at the pier before boarding the boat.  Then we were off to eat lunch on the Lido deck and then relaxing on our balconies!

Pictures above were taken from our balcony before sailing away from Finland.

Our waiter dancing to "Won't you be my girl"!
More fun dancing!
We have a visit from Mr. Duck tonight!

Stay tuned for some fun from St. Petersburg, Russia tomorrow night.  We have to set up the clocks again 1 hr. so bedtime will be soon so we can be at breakfast by 6 am.  We start our tour around 7:15 am tomorrow!
