Assisi-Pompeii-Naples- Capri Day 8

We traveled south along the highway of the Sun to Pompeii!  “Pompeii is a UNESCO World Heritage Sitestatus and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Italy, with approximately 2.5 million visitors annually”

We joined our local guide for highlights of this Roman city both destroyed and persevered by an eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. We saw a patrician home, shops and the public bath houses.

Walking on roads that are over 2,000 years old

We left Pompeii to head towards Naples where we got on a JETFOIL to the Isle of  Capri where we will be for 2 nights! 😎

Below is an image of a jetfoil

A few pictures of Capri when we arrived to take the Funicular! The Capri funicular (ItalianFunicolare di Capri) is a funicular railway on the island of Capri, in the Campania region of Italy

Vi auguro una buona giornata (have a great day) 😊
