Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park Jackson Hole, WY 9/14

The lodge we left behind at YNP at Grant Village.
We departed YNP and headed out the south entrance  to head towards Jackson, WY....aka Jackson Hole!  We were still looking for bears but again no bear sightings.  We did several photo stops along the way at Lewis Falls, Teton Mtns and lakes Coulter, Jackson and Jenny.

Starting to see the Teton Mtn range.

The next stop was lunch at Lake Jackson Lodge!

 Grand Teton

Interesting tree stump had to get a picture.

How trash recycles shown on side of trash recepticals

After lunch a few more stops for photos and then we headed into the town of Jackson where we are staying at the Rustic Inn!  Michael and I have a wonderful cabin others have wonderful rooms with a fireplace and then we have Debbie and Steve who have the wonderful river view room.  This place is a gem.

After getting checked in we all decided to walk into town for dinner.  Most opted for Moe's BBQ but I had a taste for Mexican.  The restaurant Hatch had been recommended to me for some of the best Mexican food however upon finding it Michael read the sign "closed for an event"  Hmmm back to square one to the "Merry Piglet"  yes that is the name of a Mexican restaurant here and it was right up where the BBQ place was located.  It was very good and I got to satisfy my desire for Mexican.

After dinner we met back up with everyone to stroll around town.   Michael left us to come back and do some laundry for us and the rest of us went in search of ice cream.  Moos was recommended but we all felt it may have been a 10 on the scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the best.  We have become ice cream connoisseurs...well at least we think we are. lol

Here a few of our fun pictures from last night.

The four elk antler arches guarding the corners of Jackson Hole’s George Washington Memorial Park, more commonly called the Town Square, have become well known icons to the town’s many visitors. They've been featured in thousands of family photos over the years.

Stay tuned for more from Jackson Hole!................
