What a day!

Departed Fredericksburg right on time!  Got to 95 ramp and saw that 95 north was at a standstill.  So Rt 1 to Rt 17 on to Dulles.  All checked in then to get a bite to eat.  Then we head to gate and find no plane.  Saw the shake down and arrest of a girl wearing giraffe pjs complete with a head piece and tail  No you didn't read that wrong can't make it up.  We were delayed 2 hrs then we finally board the plane only to sit at the gate then on the runway for an hour and half!  Back to the gate and off the plane and we wait! We missed our connecting flight to Scotland.  Finally made it to Newark after  getting back on the plane and sitting on the runway for 40 more mins.  Landed in Newark and they hand us boarding passes for tomorrow evening's flight.  Thank goodness for the Travel Insurance Co.  They found 9 hotel rooms at the Hilton and finally at 2:00 am all checked in and ready to rest.  But I wanted everyone to know we won't be in Scotland today. :(  We miss our first tour day but it is all good we are all safe and sound and will get some much needed rest and start a new day   God is good!  Keep us in your prayers as we try this again in just a few short hours.
