Day 2 Inverness to St. Andrews

Finally  a good nights sleep and clean clothes...I have never worn the same outfit for 3 days in my life.  Not real sure I will ever desire to do it again.  :) This morning we were up and at breakfast in our clean clothes ( can you tell I am really focused on that?) enjoying the local favorites...blood pudding (which most of us at our table tasted and I say this was better than what I ate in London last year.  We sat next to a young lady on the plane from Glasgow who couldn't wait to get home and have some.  She said that if you get good quality blood pudding it makes a difference.  So I am thinking that the Columba Hotel had good quality cause I eat most everything and I didn't like it last year in London.

 After Breakfast

We then boarded our bus for the Bell's Distillery!  Michael feels he is part owner since his great grandmother was Bell!  Only Michael!!!  Interesting tour unfortunately the smells did not make me desire any at the tasting.  But we understood it to be good quality even if it stunk!

Back to the bus and off the St. Andrews and what a charming city.  We hit a few shops.  Loved the old architectures and we had lunch at Jannetta's which is a 4 generation family owned and operated cafe and ice cream parlor!  Then off for a brisk walk to see the ruins of St Andrews Cathedral.
Yes they have matching hats (Tamoshanters)!

Back to the bus and we headed to Edinburgh were we are now.

Dinner tonight and a walking tour.

So stay tuned
