The buildings have a lot of tile work that came from the Moors from Northern Africa. Some recent research suggests they came from Spain because King Manuel had seen them in Grenada and wanted to decorate his palace the same way.
They have a trolley cars and I even saw a Metro sign too today.
We made it to the top of the city and all very thankful we didn’t end up trying to walk up to the top.
We said goodbye to our drivers at the bottom of the city and Jean Paul said no more than 5 - 10 minute walk. 🤔 He isn’t good with distance and time. 🤣 We went to a couple of shops then headed to ship for lunch.
