We made it to Barcelona

We made it to Barcelona. Our flight was just about 10 minutes late but getting through customs in record time and got our bags. We met our our tour guide Daniela and we were off to see Barcelona.

We took a walking tour around La Sagrada Familia, and it’s absolutely a must-see for anyone visiting Barcelona. This iconic basilica is the city’s most famous church—and once you stand before it, you’ll instantly understand why.

We only explored the exterior on our tour and didn’t venture inside, but even from the outside the sheer detail is breathtaking.

After the tour, we headed straight to our ship, the Carnival Pride. Boarding was a breeze—we went directly to our cabins, dropped our bags, and made a beeline for lunch on the Lido Deck. We only grabbed a light bite, but it felt like a feast compared to our “breakfast” on the plane of yogurt and a lone biscotti.

Off to freshen up for our first dinner in the main dining room.

Below is the Strawberry Bisque a cold soup so delicious!

The other appetizer- shrimp cocktail, pablona corn soup, fried calamari, Caesar salad and tomato soup.

Dinner entrees Beef brisket, sweet and sour shrimp, salmon, Mahi Mahi.

Of course then desserts ๐Ÿ˜‰

Butter Pecan with chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream, Carnival Melting Chocolate Cake, Tiramisu!

We savored our very first dinner aboard the Carnival Pride, lingering over every course as we settled into the rhythm of life at sea.

After dinner, most of us headed back to our cabins to finish unpacking and call it a night ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ˜‰, while the Thomas family kicked off their evening at the Welcome Show. It was the perfect end to a wonderful day, and we’re excited for Monday—ready to be fully rested and enjoy our first relaxing sea day.

Stay tuned for more fun and excitement.
