We are on the way 🤩

I woke up at 4 am thinking about all I still needed to do. Finally I climbed out of bed to finish up. Still struggled with the weight in my suitcase. 😬 Fortunately my good friend, Susan,  packs better than me so she had room for a few items for me. 🥳 Yes I know I won’t need 1/2 of what I brought but I am happier having it all with me. 😉 

Kenny, owner of The Happy Bus, picked us all up with our luggage and we were in our way at 12 noon to Dulles International Airport. Smooth relaxing drive for us and you can tell by our happy faces upon arrival to Dulles. 

Luggage off and check in went fast and off to our gate. We found a nice place to sit and relax will we waited to board our flight at 5:35. Yep we had a wait but it was better than chancing 95 north later. The guys went to Chick-fil-A to get us some lunch. Y’all Michael doesn’t eat there and he brought me this ….

Who wants salad and cheese on their chick-fil-a sandwich. This is what I want! ⬇️

I did rip that salad off but the cheese was there to stay. Now I know you all think “wow she is so mean”. But people all around agreed don’t ruin a good chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A with all that on it. 😉 Just chicken and pickles that’s all. Waking down the gangway to our plane a flight attendant heard us still laughing about it and she said she totally agreed. I am sure he will always bring me that from Chick-fil-A.🤣 

On the plane now heading to Barcelona. Snack and dinner were served. I am tired so hopefully I can get a few hours of sleep. 

Oh and I left my AirPods at home! So what do you do go shopping in the airport. Got some great noise canceling knock offs by JBL but I honestly think I like them a lot better. 

So as I mentioned in my last blog that the wise man once told me if you forget something you can always buy it…and I did just that today before I left the country. 😂

That’s about it for today. We will be flying and I can’t imagine we will have much tonight to share but I do promise to let you know tomorrow if anything fun happens.
