I believe we all slept well. We met at 8:30 in the main dining room for brunch. It didn’t disappoint. Some even had dessert after breakfast. 😉
After breakfast we took a stroll through the shops. He is always trying on crazy hats. Although someone in the group did point it out to him. 🤣
After that we decided to take a walk outside so ran to room to get my tennis shoes on and found this cutie waiting on us!
Off to do our walk with everyone and
I tried to grab a picture for proof that we do more than eat. Either my photo skills are bad or no one understood that I wanted a picture. My Apple Watch said I walked 2.05 miles! My heart rate was up and I did break a sweat so I am claiming that walk for sure. I trust my Apple Watch. (Someone still insists it’s wrong, 🙄 Some people who know this person will know because he knows the best short cuts too. 🤣😂
Then we found a nice spot up by the pool to relax and then it was lunchtime! We had a bit of lunch on the Lido deck which is a buffet with a lot of choices. So everyone got to have lots of choices from salads, artisan sandwiches, to a full buffet of meats and side dishes and of course desserts.
Then we tried to sit back by the pool to chat where we had been but there were no seats so some went to the gym.. not me! Some to their room to rest and the rest of us went inside to find some comfy seats.
At 3 pm it was Tea Time; however, it wasn’t a true English tea…it was Lipton. We did get a small sandwich and a macaroon. Cakes were coming around but only a few of us were offered the one cake…not me of course only a few were asked. So after a few minutes a chocolate cake was passing us by and sweet Michael says “hey they want some cake”! 😆 I thought oh he is making sure I get cake since he had the other one…NOPE he wanted some of the chocolate cake too!
After that it was time for a spin around the ship outside again. I needed to work off that cake. Unfortunately they were painting and some of the deck was blocked off so we decided to go to our rooms and rest and get ready for dinner.
Dinner was fun and as always great food!!
Dessert was delicious 😋
We had entertainment tonight at dinner. The waiters were dancing to the Macarena and the Chicken Dance and wanted people at tables to dance. Well Coby was a good sport and got up and did a great job. He is definitely taller than our waiter Ronald.
We stopped and stood in the atrium on the way back to the cabin to listen to some music for a little while they were playing electric violins and cello.
Back in the room and Michael caught a sunset photo for us.
See I was moving a lot today. Not sure why it recorded as an indoor walk but it was definitely out side around the ship on Deck 3.
Our next stop is Gibraltar on Tuesday and will be taking a cable car up to the Great Seige Tunnels & the Ape Den. I am sure we will have some fun to report I hear the Barbary Apes can be mischievous. 😬
