Paris to Normandy Day 10 - 10/15/16 Versailles to Le Pecq


Today we got an early start at 8 am and we loaded onto buses and visited The Palace of Versailles and the gardens this morning!

We returned to the boat for lunch! I have better wifi so can share some of our food pictures !

After lunch we were off to Château de Malmaison. Our boat was getting ready to leave port as we were heading to the Chateau.  We would meet up with them in Le Pecq later for dinner!


 This is a bridge that is over the Seine River that was destroyed by the French Resistance during 
WW II

 Here is a little history about Napoleon Bonaparte & Josephine's home! We had an excellent guide that made their whole story come alive for me today!

After we were done here we boarded our bus to head to the boat after a quick stop above Le Pecq for some ice cream and hot chocolate!

We boarded our boat for our final dinner on the Viking Rolf!

 I believe this is a Carmel cookie crumble and chocolate ice cream
 Michael and others had ice cream!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Viking staff! If you have ever thought you wanted to do a River Cruise....do it! We have had a wonderful time but our own beds, our families and furry kid(s) are calling us home!  Will share all of our pictures soon!  Hope you have enjoyed following us as much as I have enjoyed sharing our adventures!
